Drought Monitoring Work Group Monthly Status Reports

The Drought Monitoring Work Group, chaired by the State Climatologist, meets monthly and includes water resources, climate, and natural resources professionals from both state and federal agencies. The group is responsible for monitoring available climate, hydrologic, and other pertinent data to analyze current drought conditions in New Mexico. The group also examines and reports on long-term forecasts to assist the Drought Task Force in its preparedness and response actions
